“She designed a life she loved.” ― Kobi Yamada

Considered an enthusiastic entrepreneur in the global wedding industry since 2009, Chelsea LaVere Barton started as the eyes and heart behind two well-respected U.S. wedding brands: Bit of Ivory Photography and Orchestrated Stylized Shoots. She was also once a classroom art teacher before her foray into the wedding world, but now uses her BA in English and M.Ed in Education as the founder/owner and editor-in-chief of leading wedding online publication and media brand, Tidewater and Tulle.

Chelsea prides herself on being a local and global community builder as well as a passionate wedding business educator. She was one of the co-founders of Aisle Society, an online wedding collective of 30+ of the top wedding blogs from all over the world, and has spoken at multiple conferences and events over the years including The Signature C.E.O. Conference, The Special Event Conference, NACE Richmond, and ILEA Hampton Roads. On the digital front, Chelsea has appeared on Daytime TV Blue Ridge, HoneyBook, Southern Living Magazine, Travel Channel, and others.

As a professional creator and multi-hyphenate who has attracted the attention of leading online and local communities, she also creates exclusive DIY wedding tutorials for blogs and brands you’ll see around the web and is currently a Cricut UK Ambassador.

Chelsea’s other life passions are mental health advocacy, women's equality, animal welfare, and Celiac awareness.

When she is away from the office, she loves to read romantasy or historical fiction books, travel with her husband Robert, search out the best gluten-free food (particularly desserts!), and quietly relax at home with their cats, Pickles Barrington and Juniper McIntyre.

Chelsea’s transatlantic services are available for U.S., UK, and international travel assignments and partnerships. You can reach her at: chelsea@tidewaterandtulle.com.
